Hey guys Im new to Linux and Im new to my Acer Aspire One netbook, I've scowered the net on how to get it to run the Java applet but I keep hitting walls. I was just wondering if there was anybody who had the same problem and had now sorted it. Im going to go home later after work aswell and put the lil scamp into advance mode, so if it requires that in order to do it then just a quick where to and how to will do!

    Thanks in advance

Have you tried downloading the latest version of Java for Linux? (Starting with the basics)

    If not, try here:
Java Downloads for All Operating Systems - Sun Microsystems

If your new to linux definitely go for the self extracting files, and try the RPM first.
