Fujitsu Lifebook Crusoe processor
I have tried installing LINUX MINT on a 6 year old Fujitsu Lifebook, with a low voltage Crusoe processor, ropughly equivalent to a Pentium III running at about 750 MHZ. 10 GB Hard Drive and 256 MB RAM, currently running windoxs XP Pro. When I tried loading Mint it would not install. The test mode advised PROCESSOR NOT SUPPORTED.
Any advice would be much appreciated. This is a great little machine
Thanks

Welcome to the forums!

Here's a compatibility list for you:
TuxMobil: Linux on Laptops and Notebooks with TransMeta CPU (Crusoe, Efficeon)
Have you tried any other distros, or tried any liveCDs to see if they will work?oz

Linux on transmeta crusoe
Thanks a lot for your reply. I will check this out right away and then write again. I have not tried any other distro, apart from MINT, having assumed that they would not work, so many of the tests having failed..
