    booting from cd..


    I want my laptop to boot from the windows 2000 cd on it...the laptop has linux red hat on it....i couldn't figure a way to boot from the cd please help...

    What kind of laptop is it? Have you changed your boot order in your BIOS to try and boot from the CDROM first (instead of the HDD)?

    thanks i got it solved i had to press f2 then choose the device to boot from...thanks
