OrbiCam driver?
I'm afraid I already know the answer =/ but I have an Acer 5100 with a webcam, orbicam, is there a driver for ubuntu? I need to use the webcam in my web based japanese course.... >.<
So: ubuntu driver for orbicam? (logitech or bison or whatever it is)
Because otherwise i LOVE ubuntu and do not want to change to xp or stupid vista.

In terminal type the following command:
lsusb
and post the outcome here.
Acer has different webcams with the same brandname. The code is needed to help you solve your problem.Charles

thanks, i got some help already, it seems that there is currently no driver available for my specific camera and linux....
i also discovered that other people seem to have my problem, since they seem to have the same webcamera integrated in their laptops.
anyone know where to go and ask someone to FIX it, to make a linux driver for this camera?
