could anyone please suggest which linux distro can i install on a Lenovo T500 2243 4EG notebook? A linux Distro that would accept all devices, especially for the intel wifi link, & authentec fingerprint...

Hi and Welcome !
LiveCDs are best to check Hardware support of any machine. Boot up from Ubuntu LiveCD and check if it configures everything. In case it does, install it.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I think the Lenovo laptops in general are pretty Linux-friendly. I just bought a G530 myself, and am very happy with the way Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) runs on it. Every so far has been detected hardware wise.
