card reader not working on HP Compaq NC4000
I have a HP Compaq NC4000 running pclinuxos with KDE 4.3.4
The problem is that the card reader does not work. When I had windows on the laptop everything was working fine.
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? I am real newbie with linux so need to know what to do step by step.
Thanks Dave

Most built-in card readers are usb devices, connected to a usb port on the computer motherboard. What does the command lsusb show?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!
