    Any one running Linux on Intel core i CPUs?

    I have an old laptop and I would like to get a new laptop
    that will run Linux. If you have a new or fairly new laptop
    with a running Linux on it, please share what brand laptop,
    pentium or core i CPU and if you had problems getting
    Linux to run on it.

    they are x86 and x86_64 compatible, these have been supported by kernel for years
