Boot Partition On Removable Drive?
Hi, I am not very knowledgeable with computers and was recommended by a roommate.
I am looking into purchasing a new laptop and want to do a dual install with windows and a Linux OS. I want to use a permanent hard drive for my primary storage and /USR file, and use a removable drive for the boot partition.
So my questions is, what type of removable drive or what type of interface (USB, SD card, PC card/PCMCIA card) would be best to use for installing the boot partition on? I want to have a quick boot time, so I don't know if using any form of removable media will allow that.
