many things happening...
i have a dell inspirion 1150. It doesnt have linux on it so i thought i would install it, but when i insert say a yoper disk, my screen pops up and says out of range or something, i try and scan for the range but comes up empty. I continue happily, and yoper install screen is green and off color and when i try to partition my HDD with QTparted it says there is "no linux partition" and moves on having more problems. Also is there a way in fedora core 3 install to partition your disk???
Also i do not have internet on that system i dont know if that helps...

Yes, Fedora Core will partition your drive, either automatically, or with your preference of size, format, etc. You are not required to have internet capability to run Linux.
