    Hello and welcome!

    Sound is often muted by default, so make sure that's not the case with your setup. You can also check the following articles for troubleshooting sound issues in the *buntu distros:

    Thank you very much,
    right now i have sound via headphones only, still no sound via speakers.
    i really have no idea what can cause this...
    any other suggestions?

    Just a random thought...
    Open a terminal, run alsamixer.
    Make sure that your speakers are not muted there.

    it is not muted.
    still no sound
