Ubuntu on Dell Studio 17 laptop?
I installed the latest Ubuntu from the Ubuntu website on my Dell Studio 1745 laptop (around 2 years old)
I now have dual boot (Win 7 and Ubuntu). Ubuntu loads up with no problems, yet I can't get my trackpad mouse or my wireless internet to work. I've tried using the keyboard to get around, but I'm struggling.
I initially only installed it to run one application, but I'm curious now and want to get it running properly.
Can anyone help me?
The specs of the laptop are
Pentium R dual core T4300 2.10ghz
Broadcom Wireless Card
Synaptics touchpad
Many thanks for any help

All working now, once I'd figured out the keyboard shortcuts, I managed to download the broadcom drivers, which fixed the mouse and the wireless adaptor
