Shiny little sticker
Anybody have any tips on how to get that stupid 'Designed for Windows XP' sticker off my (Dell Inspiron 1100) laptop without damaging it? I don't have Windows any more, I hate Windows, and I don't want to be reminded of it, thus, I want that shiny sticker, which is so painfully obvious, GONE. Any (non-dangerous) suggestions would be appreciated.

Goo-Gone or Goof-Off both worked great for me.

Ha! Finally got it off! I hadn't been able to actually get up under it until just now, but for some reason I was able to this time...
No goo left behind either, yay!

Easy this time around.
I'm sure MS will think of a way to prevent people from "hacking" their laptops this way (removeing the sticker) In near future I'm sure you'll find MS stickers welded to the laptops, hard linked to the cpu to make it blow up at removal, combined ms sticcker and warranty void stickers or simply laptops shaped like the MS logo.

This made me think of a funny article I read recently.

I managed to sort out my M$ logo, by peeling it off, and putting a Tux sticker over the goo;
