I went into Frys and Best Buy, and I looked at several places online. Nothing yet.

Newegg and Tiger Direct have a few refurbished machines. Is anyone making new machines with 15", 4:3 Display?

Well, you could get some factory-refurbished systems from Dell, such as their D630 systems (I have one that works great after 4 years). Also, if you need a Linux-certified system, check out ZaReason, Inc. who provides a number of Linux systems (laptops, desktops, workstations, servers). As mentioned, and noted, most current systems are using a wide-screen display, but you can get many with enough resolution to do 4:3 just fine. So, if you get one that does 1920x1080 or 1920x1200, then a 4:3 output on those will be VERY viewable!
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!
