I would be most interested in any thoughts/comments people might have about the new $35 Raspberry Pi Linux computer. Perhaps no one in U.S.A has one yet. I am on a waiting list myself. Laters, Jared

I don't have one, and won't be getting one soon.
But you might want to keep your eye on this thread. One of our other members is also quite interested in the Pi.

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
Well, they are going through some startup / teething problems, but so far nothing totally show-stopping (manufacturer installed the wrong network connectors on a bunch of first run systems). Myself, I will be getting at least a couple when they are available on this side of the pond! I have a nice ARM PC-104 board for embedded system development, but honestly, other than the extra I/O, the PI has a better system capability (RAM, CPU, et al), and at a fraction of the price! I just hope they come out with a WiFi-enabled model sometime soon!
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!
