    (FC3)says "modem is busy" always


    Hi,

    I have Agree system AC'97 inbuilt modem in my laptop and when I try to connect to internet throught that, the connection wizard(KPP) says the modem is busy always.

    Is there any way to solve the problem and how to find the modem in my machine in terms of device path say /dev/??

    Sorry for not been able to help you directly, but... as well as floppy, I havent used a modem for the last...4 years or so...

    make sure you get all th4e IRQ sorted out since it could interfere with one already in work.
    It could simpy "not" be working..
