    Just want to know what brand of Linux do you all like the most for your laptops? I am running RH 9.0 and want to move to something better if that exists? Thanks.

    Mandrake 10.1 claims to be the most laptop freindly distro out there. From personal experince, I would agree. Ubuntu would be a close second.

    Thread locked. This has been covered numerous times here and everywhere else. Distro choice is a personal opinion. What's better for me may not be better for you. Check out distrowatch.com for some pros/cons of different distros. Also our own Content Development team has put out some excellent reviews on the latest versions of the major players (http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/topic-27790.html).
