Peppermint appears very popular in particular circles in GB, I see. Would you care to tell us why, IYHO?

Because it had wifi working out of the box and it also detected my keyboard straight away.So if you have a old laptop peppermint will work on it.

    Thanks, kjm007!
When using a 'buntu, I, too, favored PeppermintOS
It was a very functional and lighter than Mint. "Cloud" can easily be converted to "Desktop" and IMHO it works better than MINT!
