    Short battery life Toshiba M30 and Suse 9.2

    I'm going mad with my Toshiba M30 centrino laptop and Suse 9.2. Battery life is about two hours when it should be about four hours. I've tried enabling acpi but still the same, it seems that cpu throttling is not supported for the processor (centrino 1.5), the cpu is always at maximum.
    Can you guys help me?

    Have you got the powersaving utility in YaST set to Power Saving? and not something like Acustic?

    Yes it's set to powersave. I've also tried to change the options such as forcing the fan to stop but nothing, still the same. Have been trying for about one month now without results.
