Getting keys to repeat - Dell Latitude C610 - Slack10

    Hello.

I have just bought a 2nd hand dell and installed slack 10 on it. I cant get any of the keys to repeat their function, i.e. i have to press c six times to get cccccc, i can't just hold it down.

I have tried un-commenting this line in my xorg.conf:

    Code:
     Option "AutoRepeat" "500 5"
    to no avail.

The thing is im not 100% sure my keyboard supports this as i wiped windows straight away. I just assumed all keyboards did.

    Thanks
