anybody heard or have info of $100 new linux laptop project

I heard in passing that a guy called nagraponte who is involved with MIT, has put proposals for Linux laptops which would retail $100 since it is going to use cheaper components.

I am very much interested in contacting him if anybody have head or has further details or how i can contact him.

as i think such product with cause a revolution in making the system cheap and low finance.

i might have misheard although i do not think so, i have done a google have not been able to find anything about this subject.

any help gratefully received.
