Acer 4500 wireless help
Hello experts
I am a newbie to linux and installed Fedora on my laptop, and am wondering how I can get my Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG wireless card(built in) working. I have downloaded the files from Intel’s website but have no idea what to do with them. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. One other thing while im here - i can't change the screen resolution to 1024 * 768, i only have 800 by 600 and 600 by 400 listed, and my screen does go to 1024 by 768.
thank you very much for your help

About changing your screen res, i think theres a setting for it in the preferences menu, but if I remeber right, that dosn't always show the resolution you want and if it dosn't try looking around in /usr/bin /usr/sbin /bin /sbin for something like redhat-gui-config or something. I don't have a working Fedora box at the moment or else I would look these things up.
