USB 2.0 CardBus support in Fedora Core 3
Hi ,
I have Fedora core 3 installed on a External Harddrive and I use a boot cd with a custom initrd to boot from the external harddrive connected to USB 1.1 interface. Since, my laptop is pretty old it does not have a USB 2.0 interface. I bought a USB 2.0 Cardbus and I am trying to boot linux from the external harddrive using the USB 2.0 interface, but the device is not recognized at boot time and boot fails.
Should I add additional options to the mkinitrd script to preload some more drivers to enable the cardbus support ?
if so what options should be enabled ?
any help is highly appreciated !
Thanks,
Mahesh
