Linux Network Driver for Dell Latitude D610! (Broadcom NetX)
Hi all,
I am trying to find a working network driver for the Dell Latitude D610.
It is a Broadcom Netxtreme 57xx driver (I think its a 5710).
I am trying to boot to a Novell ZEN boot CD (which uses Linux) however, it cannot find the card and no IP address is found.
I have tried the BCM5700.o driver from the Broadcom site (which I can get working on the Dell D600), however the D610 just refuses to work.
I have tried a few different versions of the driver.
Basically, has anyone got a working Linux driver for this network adaptor?
Help much appreciated!

Looks like the D600 has a 570x NIC, while the D610 has the 57xx NIC, which is also used by the Optiplex GX280. I created a ZEN bootdisk for the GX280 by using the following driver:
=====================================
Download zen4_bcm5700.tar.gz from Novell Cool Solutions (http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/tools/1749.html)
Extract the bcm5700.o file from zen4_bcm5700.tar.gz. This is the relevant BroadCom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit NIC driver.
=====================================
I can sucessfully image the GX280's on ZFD4 with this driver. Hopefully this works for the D610's also - good luck.
