    iluzion, I'm probably going to buy a inspiron 2200, so I'm wondering, you could make work everything with linux? I mean *everything* (WiFi, X, modem, network card, sound)

    wifi and modem are the only two i'm not sure about, had no way to test either of those. everything else worked fine, if you never need to close your laptop for any reason.
