I have got a toshiba a75 with gentoo on it and it works well. Im running 2.6.12 and use the madwifi drivers. The only problems I have are: The infrared port,kismet and the media keys (for playing cd's when the laptop is off.) I dont have the slightest idea how to get the IR port to work. I have enabled every driver in the kernel config and had no success. My wifi works well but kismet crashes saying that it cant set the private ioctl 'mode'. The little keys on the side of the keyboard: I would like to set those up to start/stop mplayer and make it switch songs. Any ideas on the above?
