Looking at getting a Dell and will probably end up dual booting with Fedora or SuSu.

Here are the two specs I came up with, both inspiron 6000's

setup 1 - $1655 before coupon
Intel® Pentium® M Processor 730 (1.60 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
1Yr Ltd Warranty, 1Yr At-Home Service, and 1Yr Technical Support
15.4 inch UltraSharp WSXGA+ LCD Panel
256MB DDR2 SDRAM 1 Dimm (I'll upgrade this myself later on)
60GB Hard Drive
8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer write capability
64MB DDR ATI's MOBILITY™ RADEON X300 PCI Express x16 Graphics
6-cell Lithium Ion Battery (53 WHr) (I'll end up getting a 9cell for 80 off ebay instead of paying 90 for a 9 cell now . . . that way I have a 9 cell AND 6 cell)
Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200 Internal Wireless (802.11 b/g, 54Mbps) (found http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/)
Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Internal(2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate) (my phone has bluetooth)

setup 2 - $1760 before coupon
Intel® Pentium® M Processor 730 (1.60 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
3Yr Ltd Warr,At-Home Service, and Tech Support plus Nights and Weekends
15.4 inch UltraSharp WSXGA+ LCD Panel
256MB Shared DDR2 SDRAM 1 Dimm
60GB Hard Drive
8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer write capability
Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900 Graphics
6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery (53 WHr)
Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200 Internal Wireless (802.11 b/g, 54Mbps)
Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Internal(2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate)

So questions . . .
Which one seems like the best buy? Will I have better luck with the intel media accelerator 900 in linux then the ati? I know Intel is better at suporting linux then ATI is. Is there a big difference between the WXGA LCD and "UltraSharp" WSXGA+ LCD and should I opt for the cheaper wxga to save some $125? Better laptop deals that work pretty well with linux?

The coupon is for $750 btw.

THANKS!!
