Anything like WHAX with install

hey everyone.
iam new here, just found the forum, great place.
i was looking to install linux on my laptop, especially for wireless hacking(attempts) as windows sux real bad, not enough programs available, and i think the ones available are not the best, linux version are better.

i tried WHAX last night, booted from the cd, is there any linux distro that can install to my laptop hd that would be similar to whax, and good for wireless hacking attempts..

hey i tried phlaks, seems it also runs from cd

i need somethign that i can install, so it doesnt have to search the cd always

I think there is a hardrive install for Phlak, if you have a look in the Phlak control panel I'm nearly sure it's there.
