    noob needs help installing VGA driver


    HI people im new to linux and i got a problem i installed mandrake 10.1 on a 900mhz 128 ram amitech **** laptop its runing fine in 640x480 or whatever its called but the resolution is kinda...big so i found these drivers and downloaded it

    theres two files

    xsis.tgz
    xsis.rpm

    how do i install it???? im lost please help thanks.. im going blind.

    p.s i know a bit how to use that terminal thing so no prob just need a walkthrough on how to install the thing thanks..

    To install the xsis.rpm do:
    Code:
    su
    [rootpass]
    rpm -ivh xsis.rpm
    in the terminal
