Which Linux will be the best for CompaQ Armada m700 ?
Hi!
I have laptop Compaq Armada M700 with PIII 700MHz, 128RAM and 60 GB disc.
Which distro I should choose for this stuff ? I have two candidates: Ubuntu 5.04 and SuSE. Remember: some time ago I had Mandrake 10.1 on my PC and I know something about Linux...
Please, help me if u can...

I have this same laptop. It's a bear to run anything super-bloaty like MDK or Suse on it, but I've had Ubuntu on it and it ran pretty good.
Let us know what you decide and how it works for you.

Yea, no problem, but firstly, I've to get the CDs with Ubuntu, which will be send out of sea, from US

of those two you're probably better off with Ubuntu i have Suse running on a PIII 1.2 GHz and it is slow sometimes. I've also Heard good things about Mepis on laptops though.
