Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?

thats good, as im planning to get one as soon as possible, and I'll be ordering it without an OS.
some vendors sell ASUS notebooks aas barebones, so if possible, ill get one soon, and use my existing laptop's RAM, harddrive and DVD drive to get it up and running (assuming they wit fit, theyre pretty standard parts)
