    no display on Dell with ubuntu

    hello earth people

    I have problem with ubuntu on my laptop (dell latitude 110l).
    the instalation went just fine, and then when i turn on my computer i choose
    ubuntu linux, he starts to write some lethers and stops. I think that something is wrong with the display driver or something because i can hear the desktop click sound but there is no pitcure.

    How can i fix it

    Can you be a bit more specific? What does the screen say before it goes black?
