the title kinda says it all linux boots fine till it gets to the pcmcia then it stops and frezes and thats as far as i can get...

mandrake 9.1 stops booting at pcmcia

try booting with either the option nopcmcia or pcmcia=off depending on your boot loader...

it boots imedieatly into mandrake because that is the only os i run on that computer
