I get an hour and a half on mine if I'm lucky. That was measured on suse9.3 with KDE running with all its bells and whistles. I wonder how long I would get with my nice trim gentoo+fluxbox setup...

Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1650, AMD Athlon64 3400+
Mine something less than 2 hours, with no heavy load, working on openoffice... with slackware 10.2 and freerock gnome.

I get about an hour but this is an old battery so I don't know what it would be like with a new battery I'm assuming two plus because I'm running gentoo with fluxbox and don't do any heavy processing jobs or video which eat battery I also don't have cpu scaling or video saving options on. I might get a new battery though because its annoying having the battery die in the middle of doing something.
