Soundcard Spec for Digital DECpc 425SLC/e Premium
Dear fellow geeks,
I have got my hands on a beatiful peace of Digital's 425 Notebook from 1993 (or something).
Installing Slackware 10.2 over the network was straightforward and seemingly successful.
The problem is that I haven't been able to find any information about what soundcard it is equipped with. Is there anyone out there that could shed some light on this? Or do I have to open the case to see what chips there are (if any)? I have the annoying feeling, however, that there might be some super special Digital hardware hack combined with some even more super special software that produced the sound before the on-disk drivers were over-written.
Suggestions?
Best regards,
Björn
