I've been trying to install Suse onto a new Vaio with a USB mouse plugged in as a substitute for the touch pad it has (I hate those things). Installation goes fine, but when I go for the first boot, it hangs at a point where it says

I have tried installing with the option to "ignore mouse, even if one is present", but I still get this error. Can anyone help me sort this one out?
