Dell Inspiron E1405 Dual core
hey all,
just got a new laptop from dell. the configuration is as follows
intel core processor "Duo" T2300E 1.66Mhz
"2 GB DDR2 SDRAM "
"intel pro wireless 802.11a/g"
I heard the some linux distro doesnt recognize 2 GB ram and it starts acting weird. Is that true ? I wanted to know which Linux flavor would run hassel free on this notebook. Please comment

First off I just want to say... sexxxxxy...
It's to my understanding that most kernels have three settings for RAM
<1GB & 1GB-4GB & >4GB
I believe the default is 1-4. For that, you really shouldnt have a problem.
Also with a system like that I'm sure nearly any distro would run smoothly. Grab a bloated one like suse or debian and load it full of eye candy. At least, thats what I'd do :P10" Sony Vaio SRX99P 850MHz P3-M 256MB RAM 20GB HD : ArchLinux
