I recently (today) sold my gateway NX560X that I was having sound and other issues with using SuSe.. I trucked to local electronics store after selling it and picked up a Sony FS980... Got home, format HD, and install SuSe 10.1.... Here are the results

Everything is working right out of the box! Sound, wireless, ect... The only issue I had was after initial boot I got a pop up saying the monitor did not report X and Y values and to configure manualy...

It's almost like this Laptop was made for Linux.... So far so good...

The screen is VERY bright and needed to adjust that.... Works like a champ right out of the box for anyone looking for a Laptop that runs SuSe with little to no effort, this might be for you. 80gb HD, 1G DDR....
