    Linux on Gateway 400SD4

    Hi gang,
    I just did a successful install on my gateway laptop. 2.2ghz...40 gig HD...32 Meg ATI Radeon Mobility...512Ram. Fedora Core 1..no tweaking of anything (for this I am thankful) maybe later after I am more comfortable with Linux I can mess with it more. I tried Mandrake 8 and I couldnt keep the laptop cool. I was actually sitting with it in my lap and it started to burn me lol. I am just so damned happy this worked without any troubles I just had to tell someone. Right now I am just looking through all the stuff I installed trying to see what it will all do. Gateway 400SD4...I big thumbs up!
