    installing linux via serial-port



    hi !

    i tried to install linux on my notebook via serial-port and a nullmodem-cable.
    the problem is that i can't set an ip-adress on my ppp0. i compiled pp into the kernel an installed it (running gentoo).

    can anybody help please?
    make install not love
