Laptop + projectors
Hello im new here and newbie in linux. I have serious problem with projectors and my laptop. My laptop's producer is rather unknown for you. Its ACTINA Tytan with PIII 800, 320 mb ram & sis 630 graphic card. Key combination Fn + F4 should change where video signal should go ... it was like that on windows. But on m distro Mandrake 10 and before Mandrake 9.0 system halts and only removing battery helps. What I should do to use projectors with my laptop?
Greatful thx for any ideas or links.

What video driver are you using?
It was reported that the 4496 version of the nvidia driver, doesn't support the switch video function. Try upgrading to the latest video driver.\"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.\"

You may want to ask the newsgroup alt.os.linux.mandrake
In the rare event I can't find an answer here, I can usually find one over there. Be warned, they are not as nice as the folks here.
Get back to us with the answer if you get one, I'm interested.
Good Luck.
