Fedora FC6 and Toshiba L20 video problem
Gentlemen
I am sure this has been asked a zillion times
I have searched, but can not get a way to make FC6 (fedora Core 6) to work in a graphics mode on a Toshiba Satellite L20 ( has a ATI radeon chip)
Incidentaly FC7 live CD works fine !
Any help most desired

Check the ATI website for a Linux Driver.

the livna repository for FC6 has rpms of the fglrx drivers for Radeon (and other ati ones). When you're in text mode, under su type yum install fglrx. Then reboot, and it should work. Also, have you tried startx command?

I, too, own a toshiba laptop, and cannot get the Fedora Core 6 installer to work in graphical mode. I'd like to try your link, but I can't get the page to load for some reason.
Do you have any others I could try?
