linux for a beginner
what can i say? i've just bought notebook[Aristo, cpuT5500] and i'd like to start using linux. i had never dealt with that system. with which distribution i should start. i was suggested mandriva. what are your suggestions?

that link is a great place to get started with Linux. there are several distros and everyone has a favorite. Ubuntu, fedora, Mandriva, PCLinuxOS and Suse are all good beginner distros. you have to decide for yourself.
