Function Keys??? How to?
Hey Guys
I was wondering how to get the blue function keys to work in linux.
I know you can program some of them. But the function (Fn) button plus a key with blue writing on it, how do you get it to work? Volume control for example, or play, forward and back....
Any ideas?

Look for a Hot Key package, not sure if Fedora has one.
I use openSUSE with my Acer Laptop and have them working
with there ACERHK package.

I just installed Fedora 7 yesterday and was wondering the same thing. The Function key for screen resolution works fine, but the others do not.

Try configuring your laptop to use the "Trust Wireless Multimedia" (I think that's the name).
It generally works for all of the function keys, I find it the most generic for all keyboards. Aside from the BIOS Fn controls such as battery the other keys like volume should work.
