thinkpad 600
Just bought an thinkpad 600 off ebay for my daughter. I also ordered a freespire disc. The laptop has windows 2000 prof. installed but is password protected. I cannot get freespire to load. but it seems too need more space than is available. What is the best linux version to use and /or any HELPwould appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

Suse and Ubuntu usually work pretty well with laptops. Others here might recommend something else.

Your system specifications are too low for suse or ubuntu. Check this poll.
