Dell Inspiron 9100 - Which distro to install?
Does anyone run linux on a Dell Inspiron 9100? If so what distro are you using and were you able to get all the drivers for it? Mine has the 128mb ati radeon 9700 mobility card in it so i know that might be an issue as i have had problems getting ATI drivers to work in Fedora Core. I have installed and run Fedora Core 3 and 5 on 2 different machines so i'm familiar with FC, but i wouldn't mind trying something new either. I have installed Mandrake before but it was a long time ago and i don't remember how it was.
Any input on which distro i should install on this machine? I was kind of thinking the new Fedora Core, Debian or Suse.

Distros are a matter of personal taste so the best advice is to just try them until you find one you like. Have a look at Distrowatch for some ideas of how they rank up.
Also have a look at this thread for general recommendations
