Which is best for wireless connection in india ?

Hi all,

Laptop runs on Fedora 7 - I want to know for Wireless laptop Internet which is best service provider?
Tata or airtel or reliance or bsnl/mtnl
I check forums and googled - not getting enough info. :(
Does anyone from india in LF using linux laptop with USB internet connection?
Please guide me :)

Note:I have only linux and no windows on my laptop.

IMO, Airtel and Reliance bid highest in the wireless.

I am sorry if i am not going to be of much help but tataindicom gives the best offer on the fixed broadband service.
One point about them is you can choose to have the connection
time based and
high speed (2MBPS)
ans also get the entire night time (9pm to 9am) free by paying about Rs. 99.00

Also they have a decent connectivity when it comes to wireless.

as far as checking if it works with linux!!!
I dont think any of the service providers in INDIA support or even anticipate a linux user.
It is upto you to do a little work to get it set up...

My expierience with theee different conncetions...
When i call them with a problem to compain that i am not getting connected (mostly due to a server brakedown of some kind) , the first trouble shoot solution they tell me is to click on internet explorer, Go to tools -> Internet Options and clear history!!!!!!!!!
They sometimes even blink when i tell mozilla or firefox....
