hi there,
i am totally new to Linux.
i created a Kubuntu USB to run on my mini laptop and it didn't function very well (couldn't run WIFI and didn't entirely open everything).
i looked at the system requirments, and it seems the computer have them all..
is there any other version that will work well on this mini laptop ?

I have the same problem with my compaq 110c-1110sa
With the Atom processor and 1 gig of ram, it is a little light for Kubuntu. Go to distrowatch.com and do a search on older computers and netbooks. That will bring up a list that work well on machines with low resources. AntiX, Crunchbang, LegacyOS, and the others listed should do well for you.
