Setting a dial-up connection in Red Hat 7.3 (Linux newbie)
I need to connect to Internet using my Siemens S45 cellphone but don't know how to do it in Linux. I can do this easily in Win2k, the only problem is that I don't have the slightiest idea how it works in Linux. I tried the Internet Configuration Wizard and set all the parameters to the same values as in Win2k but when I pressed the button Activate nothing happened for a long time so I had to kill the activation.
Does anybody know how to do this?
(or where can I get information on how serial ports/modems/network connections/... work in Linux)

On win 2K com3 works as well as can be expected. This implies /dev/ttys2 should work,
but so far I haven't been able to get the modem to go off hook under Fedora Core 1.
