Lightbulb Installation Issue

I have got an 845gl chip set in my computer the thing is when I'm trying install linspire using the installation cd it all runs fine but after a certain point it says frequency out of range and the monitor goes blank help me out guys ....I'm new to linspire. Thank You

the problem is due to wrong frequency

Linspire is mis-configuring your system monitor.

Is thier Safe graphics mode or Safe mode during installation.If yes try it

also try

Hey,
I guess its bit late. Anyways did you provide any kind of installation option?
Check you hardware specs mainly your graphics card and monitor with linspire h/w compatibility support list.

If everything seems fine post your machines hardware specs to us.

Thanks for the info dude the hardware that i use is surely supported by linspire since i was able to setup my pc with ubuntu no problems whatso ever so i think it shud work bro help here the chipset that i have is 845gl chipset so guess it shud work and are u saying there is an option that says safe graphics mode oh ok i just check that ...

I've never used Linspire, but look for cheatcodes available through the F-keys right after the CD begins to spinup, but before it actually begins to boot. If you find codes giving you options for refresh rates, vga, resolution, or other video options, that's what you want to try.
