Unhappy editor

CNR has a major prob.It cannot save my proxy settings even though i specify.I save and restart CNR but it remains empty..the only way to keep my settings now is to locate the config file for CNR and edit it.

can someone give me a step by step guide on how im gonna reach the CNR folder and edit the config file ?

Exit and close cnrand make sure all cnr processes are dead
Then (i think) edit $HOME/.kde/share/config/cnrproxyrc
change the proxy mode to1 and fill in the settings
restart cnr
